This project has quickly become one of our favorites. The stunning transformation of the kitchen from dark stone walls into a sleek, bright workspace added not only functionality but sophistication. The arched pantry door adds a bold modern touch while the clean white lines and creamy quartzite surfaces bring a more traditional feel. The quartz shelf that runs the full length of the wall adds the perfect place to display all the kitchen necessities like pieces of art.
We wanted to update the master bedroom with on-trend pieces without sacrificing comfort. To achieve that we mixed contrasting textures from velvet to boucle in easy, livable tones that bring a comfortable sophistication to the room. The client’s own vintage furniture gave a beautiful contrast to the space - mixing old and new to create a narrative of depth and history.
In the master bath we mixed modern surfaces with classic fixtures for a luxe combination. The clean, contemporary tiles are warmed by soft brass accents in the mirror and sconces. A soft glow from the Capiz shell pendant creates a sumptuous ambience for taking a bath in the large porcelain tub.
We wanted a laid-back curated look for the living room. A place where entertaining is made easy, a collected feel with modern and eclectic accents. The added bookshelves created much needed storage while also becoming a display for said accent pieces. The unique art above the sofa gives the room some movement and playfulness. The mix of textures; cozy velvets, linens and chenille make it warm and inviting. The house came together beautifully, and we really enjoyed this design project!
